Donations

The giving of donations to charity in lieu of flowers has become an established custom. It is the policy of Thornalley Funeral Services Ltd. to ensure that all donation money is sent to the charities free of any deductions whatsoever.

At the funeral service some people give their donations in a sealed envelope with their names and the charity written on the outside, however loose cash given at the service will be recorded on the list accordingly with no name.

Some people send cheques or cash through the post after the funeral.
These need to be in a sealed envelope with the following information:-

• your name
• name of the deceased
• relevant charity
  

A short while after the funeral we would then close the donation account and compile a list of names as a record for the bereaved family.
